Do I need wine to play?

Playing with other beverages

This game is designed specifically with wine in mind. The terminology describes wine and the various smells, tastes and feel you get whilst drinking it. 

How much wine is needed?

To really test your tastebuds we recommend playing with 3 different varieties of wine. However, if you only have 1 bottle at your disposal, this is a good starting point. You can start playing as long as everyone gets to taste the same wine.

The non-alcoholic version.

You can play with non-alcoholic wines, as long as everyone is drinking the same wine. 

Can I play with more than 6 people?

Yes. Although the game is recommended for 2-6 playings you can play with up to 10 players. However, you may need to adjust how many cards each player is dealt and reduce the amount of points to be won. 

My cards don't match the wine

You won’t always have the perfect descriptive card in your hand. This is a good time to play a funny answer or throw out a difficult card so you can pick up a new card.

Who chooses the best answer?

Ideally the Wine Master gets to choose the best answer. Everyone gets a turn at being the Wine Master so everyone gets the chance to choose their favourite answer. Remember to play to the Wine Masters taste, if you’re playing to win. 

The Vote

Instead of having one person choose the best answer, have everyone at the table vote on the best. This gets everyone involved, but be warned it may come with some friendly arguments. 

Does the Wine Master play?

Everyone takes it in turns to be the Wine Master. The Wine Masters job is to read the purple card aloud to the other players.
When you are the Wine Master, you do not contribute a red card. This way, you are not choosing your own card as the winner each time!

How Many Cards Are There?

You'll find 150 different trivia question cards in the box. Each card is either multiple choice or True or False.

The answers are on the back in small print, upside down. (Put your thumb over it if you don't want a spoiler.)

How is Trivia a Game?

Wine trivia is a game where players compete to answer questions correctly from a deck of cards. Points are awarded for each correctly answered question, and the player with the most points at the end wins. This setup encourages friendly competition among family and friends to test and expand wine knowledge.

Your Order

Shipping

My order is late or never arrived. Now what?

Check your confirmation email for a tracking number. If you can’t find a tracking number or you believe the order may be lost, send us an email.

I don’t live in Australia, can I still buy products from your website?

Yes. We can ship orders almost anywhere, and orders will usually arrive in 2-4 weeks. Additional taxes and duties may apply to your international order. You will need to contact us directly to arrange international orders.

I placed an order on your website, and I’m still waiting for it. 

Once the product is shipped, we rely on the shipping companies to fulfill your order. As of late, these companies are backed up and taking their sweet time. Please be patient, drink some wine and wait to enjoy your game. 

Order Cancellations

I’d like to cancel my order.

You may cancel your order within thirty minutes of purchase. Use the link in your confirmation email or email us directly. After thirty minutes your order will be packed and ready for shipping. 

I no longer want it, can I cancel it?

Returns and Exchanges

I would like to return my order.

We offer returns for unopened products purchased within the last 30 days. It’s up to the customer (that’s you) to pay for the return shipping costs. Please contact us so we can start the returns process.

How long does it take for returns to be processed?

We’ll issue you a refund once we receive the returned goods at our warehouse. From there, your refund will take 1-2 weeks to show up on your bank statement.

 

I accidentally bought something I already have and would like to exchange it.

We don’t accept exchanges. Try giving it as a gift or leaving it at your nearest winery. 

Incorrect or Damaged Goods

I received the wrong items.

Whoopsie Daisies. Send us an email and we’ll make sure you get the products that you paid for.

 

The product is damaged.

That’s no good! Please send us an email with a picture of the damaged goods and we’ll take it from there.

 

Part of my product is damaged. Can you replace it?

Send us an email with a photo of the damage. If it is only 1 card, we cannot send a replacement.

Do you sell products in other languages?

Not yet, but it’s something we’re working on. 

 

Do you sell custom products?

Yes. We can do wholesale prices for your company with your branding and logo on it. Please send us an email and we’ll be in touch.

Other Questions

Why are there different brand names?

We wanted to expand our games range, which then resulted in a rebrand. This was the best step moving forward. It also means we will be updating some product names and packaging in the future. Stay Tuned!

Is it safe to put my credit card number into this website?

Yes. We don’t store any of your credit card information.

Why do you use American English?

By using American English we can streamline production and offer cost savings onto our customers.
